Shannon's Grandfather registered the Lazy"s" brand in Oregon in 1903. His other Grandfather ran for Mayor of Portland Oregon and was only narrowly defeated in 1917.

A youthful Cheyenne maiden dips water from a rocky forest stream. She enjoys the moment before she carries it back to the tipi to resume her daily chores. All is beauty here, almost as a passing brave might see her. The color is vibrant, tha action is slow, peaceful almost languid in the warmth of a spring day.
